Miniature Shame Golf is a game of painting your miniatures.
Just like boomer-golf and mini-golf, miniature-shame-golf is a game of trying to get your score “down” by completing models.
There are some bonuses and penalties in this chart below.
I’m counting only the penalties for acquiring .stl files … but I haven’t purchased a lot of those so that might not be a big deal.

The current Start Collecting Chaos Space Marines is about 700pts made up of a leader and two part “full” sprue. The leader can be swapped or removed, but, the sprue cannot. If they want to do a 500pt Combat Patrol they’re going to have to replace that sprue, and, that could mean replacing the Greater Possessed.
My bet; they’re going to make up a kit with two 10-model squads of Chaos Cultists or Traitor Guard, some Black Legion Chosen a leader and a heavy.

I meant for this to look a bit like it had been lit with neon lights - but washing the whole thing didn’t quite do that. I also tried to make the join look like melted equipment by applying Game Effects Rust but I think that came out more like an OSL effect.
I’m again pleased as I got it done in one sitting.

The “Bloody Many Dynasty” is my latest new Necron colour scheme to find something that I like “enough.” I have the spares to try 19 more times before I need to commit.
If you want to try something like this;
- This figure (and more) are in the Warhammer 40,000 Recruit Edition
- … and the “other” starters, with many others - but, those are more expensive
- … it’s also in the “Necron Warrior’s” set but I see no reason to recommend that
- You can get some paints and figures in the Necron Warriors + Paint Set
- There’s also the “Getting Started” magazine for £8
… you can boop me for more detailed paints, but;

- Gloss Varnish to aid crackling

I’ve finished some Grimghast Reapers.
This is my “new rule” to encourge “loving what you got.” I’m thinking that the Hagglethorn Hollow stuff should count for extra if I use the designs (or parts) more than once.

Two factions and at least 30 figures … or I say “models.” 40k’s “Elite Edition” wouldn’t count as it’s 27 figures, but, “Command Edition” could because of the terrain.
[return]Howl says “within 30 days” of release. I’m not counting any partwork magazines but will count “limited” items that’re within 30 days of their release. Otherwise … I say “same season or 30 days” if either applies.
[return]The scatter terrain looks “nice” but … I’m not too worried about most of it. I might revisit it if/when I get a resin printer.
